F.A.Q's
Do I have to have my vehicle repaired where my insurance company recommends me to go?
By NH Law, you have the right to have your vehicle repaired where YOU want it fixed. An insurance company cannot refuse your request and must negotiate with the shop of your choice.
If I don't use the shop recommended by my insurance company, will my repairs still be warrantied?
Absolutely! WE guarantee the repairs we've done to your vehicle for as long as you own it, regardless of whether or not it's an insurance claim or an out of pocket incident. This is the same guarantee you would get if the claim goes through one of the insurance company's "network" shops.
Is your shop affiliated with any insurance company "network" or "direct repair" agreements?
Yes. We have a relationship with several of the leading insurance company's. Because we are a small shop, we choose to keep the number of direct repair relationships to a comfortable number so that we may better serve all of our customers. There's a certain level of commitment with each insurance company and we want to achieve the highest level of satisfaction with everyone involved.
Why should I use Auto Re-Nu-It over another shop?
There are many good, qualified shops out there, but what we can promise you is that if you do choose us, you will receive personalized, friendly service from day one. You will also receive the quality repairs you deserve by our trained and certified technicians. Stop by for yourself and see our clean, clutter free, and well maintained facility. This will reassure you that you can entrust your car to us and know that it will be cared for in the same way. Our large repeat customer base is a sure sign that we're doing it right!
Do I need to get more than one estimate?
No. By law, you do not have to obtain more than one estimate.
Am I entitled to rental replacement by my insurance company?
That depends. If you are putting a claim in with your insurance company, you would have to check with them to see if you have the endorsement on your policy that covers rental replacement. If you do have such coverage, you would be allotted a rental vehicle for the specific amount of per day coverage on your policy (ie; $30/day, $50/day). There is a maximum coverage period of 30 days. If your vehicle is drivable, coverage begins the day your vehicle is scheduled for repairs and actually dropped off at the repair facility. However, if your vehicle is not drivable, coverage begins the date of loss.If you are a claimant (using the responsible party's insurance company) then by NH law, you are entitled to a "comparable" replacement vehicle to your own.
If I'm involved in an accident and my vehicle is not drivable, who will pay for the tow?
The tow charges affiliated with your accident are included with the damages and reimbursed through your insurance. You have two options. If it's during business hours, give us a call and we will arrange to have your vehicle towed to our facility and we will pay the charges. If it's outside of business hours, you can call the wrecker service we're affiliated with and they will tow your vehicle to our lot and bill us. This way there's no out of pocket expense to you. We will pay the charges and wait for reimbursement from your insurance company.
Feel free to use your own AAA policy if you prefer or call Bob at Supreme Towing (24/7) 603-626-9555 in Manchester, NH
Who do I pay my deductible to?
Your deductible gets paid to the repair facility upon completion of the repairs.
Will my paint match when you're done with it?
Yes. Just because your car has a specific paint code does not mean there is only one formula for your car. There are many variances within one specific code. But because we take the time to do spray-out cards of available variances, we are able to find the best blendable match for your vehicle.
Is it safe to wash my vehicle right after it's been painted?
Yes, however, there are recommended procedures:
- Hand wash using a mild detergent and cool water(avoid harsh commercial chemicals) for the first 30 to 60 days.
- Do not wax the vehicle for at least 90 days.
- Be sure to use a clean cloth (micro fiber or wash mitt is recommended) and never wipe the finish with a dry cloth as the dust/sand/dirt on the surface will act like sandpaper and scratch the finish.
- Avoid washing your car in direct sunlight. Water droplets act as a magnifying glass for those harmful UV rays of the sun.
- It is recommended that you dry your vehicle after washing to avoid water spots (which contain mineral deposits) from forming and etching into your paint. A detailing cloth or chamois is recommended for this procedure.
